It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Alvida McChesney (Clear Lake, Iowa), who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Buhr and Esther Buhr (Blomster); her husband Russ; and her son Rex McChesney. She is survived by: her former husband Patrick McChesney; her children, Joel McChesney (Mary) of Cudahy, WI and Esther Anderson (Terry) of Ventura; her daughter-in-law Jodie McChesney of Clear Lake; her grandchildren, Corinne Higgins (Andy), Conor McChesney, Colin McChesney, Katie Oleyniczak (Erik), Tera Kappmeyer (Marc), April Lane (Tim), Ashley Elliott (Chad), Seth McChesney (Sarah) and Sean McChesney; and her sister Mary Mott (Dick) of Mason City. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
