She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Ed and Joyce Hughes. She is survived by: her parents, Craig Hughes and Andi Hughes (Skrukrud); her sister Kylie of Clear Lake; her grandparents, Arnie and Annette Skrukrud; her aunts and uncles, Lisa Shaffer (Dean), Jeff Hughes (Jana), Molly Hanford (Art), Scott Hughes and Brad Hughes; and her cousins, Jordyn, Logan Shaffer, Tyler Olson (Kelly), Shelby Berggren (Jens), Nicole Cruz (Rafa), Claire, Ellie Hughes, Kennedy Olson, Leona, Cecilia, Rory, Brooks Berggren, Leighton and London Cruz.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the North Iowa Humane Society, in memory of Jayden.
