She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Burtness and Doris Burtness (Zobel); her spouse Spence Jr. Abrams; her parents-in-law, Spence and Vera Abrams; her daughter Sandy Abrams; and her granddaughters, Heather Jefson and Emily Holtan.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Jefson (Floyd) of Forest City, Tim Abrams (Jeri Weiss) of Forest City, Julie Pals (Kevin) of Clear Lake, Pam Moore (Dan) of Hot Springs, AR and Steve Abrams (Valerie) of Rockford; her grandchildren, Chad Jefson (Rachel), Andrew Jefson (Angela), Alan Abrams (Lindsay), Todd Pals (Abby Bohl), Adam Pals (Lauren), Dustin Moore, Drew Moore (Paige), Derek Moore (Melissa), Travis Holtan (April), Stephanie Wooge (Lukas), Joshua Holtan, Michael Holtan, Jonathan Abrams (Constance) and Allison Diaz (Steve); and her siblings, JoAnn Bailey, Larry Burtness and Lance Burtness. She is also survived by 32 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild.
Family suggests memorial contributions to Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church in Joice, IA or to UnityPoint-Health Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines.
