She was predeceased by: her father Frank Hackard; her brother Frankie Hackard; and her parents-in-law, Mary Ryerson and Ron Ryerson. She is survived by: her mother Ruth Ann Hackard (Parr); her friend Dan; her children, Zachary (Alexandra) of Minneapolis, MN and Logan (Nicole) of Madison, WI; her husband Dan Ryerson; her child Morgan Ryerson; her stepfather Ronnie Turner of Farmington, IA; and her siblings, Sue Owens of Lee Summit, MO, Jane Morris (Terry) of Keosauqua, IA and Fred Hackard of Bonaparte, IA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Memorials may be directed to Dan Ryerson, that will later honor Janet's memory.
