She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Schwarz and Emma Schwarz (Dorale); her brothers, Alvin (Sweetie), Earl (Helen) and Norman Schwarz; and her siblings-in-law, Clara, Edna Rumhr, Harry, Albert, Carl, Elzie, George and John Bottjen.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Bottjen (Sandra) of Crosslake, MN, Larry Bottjen Theodosia (Juli) and Burt Bottjen (Kathryn) of Clear Lake, IA; and her grandchildren, Sheryl Tandon (Ankur), Molly Gornowicz (Blake), Emily Schurz (John), Gregory Bottjen, Rachel Brouillette (Marc), Daniel Bottjen, Sarah Bottjen (Ian Hall), Amanda Janson (Ben), Philip Bottjen (Heather) and Abigail Arrigoni (Zach). She is also survived by 9 Great-Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Hospice of North Iowa or Zion Lutheran Church in Clear Lake, Iowa.
