He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry M. Nelson and Thora Nelson (Elwood); his sisters, Ona Snyder (Dale) and Edell Westerberg (Don); and his brother-in-law John Hubacher.
He is survived by: his siblings, Richard Nelson (Janelle) of Rose Creek, MN and Esther Hubacher of Mason City. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friend.
