Helen Cookman Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2021, at the age of 75, Helen Cookman of Clear Lake, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Brayton and Georgiana Brayton (Sorenson); and her brother Marvin Brayton. She is survived by: her former husband Michael Cookman; her children, Todd Cookman (Michaela) of Clear Lake and Tonya Cummings (Roger) of Austin, MN; her grandchildren, Colton Cookman of Clear Lake, Tanner Cookman of Clear Lake, Tristan Cookman of Clear Lake, Kyla Cummings (Luke Reed) of Austin, Blake Cummings of Austin and Lee Cummings of Austin; her siblings, Roy Brayton of Clinton, UT, Karen Koenig of Cortland, IL and Darlene Holst (Gail) of Otho, IA; and her close friend Lynn Rosenquist of Fort Dodge. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
