With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gordon D. Myers of Clear Lake, Iowa, born in Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on July 24, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Myers and Reva Myers (Roderick); his parents-in-law, Donald and Helen DeBell; his sister Bonnie Evenson; and his nephew Jay Amundson.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon DeBell; his grandchild Gordy; his pet Murphy; his children, Steven Myers (Darla) of Clear Lake and Becky Chizek (Paul) of Clear Lake; his grandchildren, Miranda Nelson (David), Ashley Fittje (Ty), Brandon Myers (Samantha), Alyssa Myers (Zach Graham), Nick Chizek (Annabelle) and Jacob Chizek; his great grandchildren, Benjamin Myers, Skylar Myers, Lliam, Noah and Adley-Mae Fittje; his brother-in-law Dave (Carol DeBell); and his nieces and nephews, Dennis Amundson, Donna Amundson and JoDee Kopetsky.
