We are sad to announce that on February 13, 2022, at the age of 92, Eugene Martin Alexander of Clear Lake, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin "Marty" Alexander and Lucille "Lucy" Alexander (Shors); his son-in-law Bill Bartine; and his brother Jerry Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Mary Kay Bartine of Des Moines, Linda Moore (Tom) of Adel, Tom Alexander (Mary B.) of Clear Lake and Susy Polzin (Gregg) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Nick Bartine (Amanda), Michael Bartine, Abby Bartine, David Bartine (Jamie), Bryan Moore, Brad Moore, Jennifer Moore, Caitlin Marconato (Sebastien), Patrick Alexander (Melissa), Alex Polzin (Ellen), Ben Polzin, Molly Henry (Wes) and Jack Polzin; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Aubrey Bartine, Maeva, Manu Kai Marconato and Emmett Henry; and his sister-in-law Ellen Alexander of Des Moines.

Family suggests memorial contributions to St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Clear Lake or Care Initiatives Hospice in West Des Moines.

The entire basketball team consisted of Tomas Alexander (your son), David Oeth (All Saints greatest contributor's family member), Brian Tracy (Loretta Tracy's son) and two of the same Forwards every game all four quarters of every game. The rest of All Saints could only look on in amazement at your superior coaching abilities. The rest of the 8th grade class could not stop cheering you on every game from finish to end.”
