It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Lee Bills (Clear Lake, Iowa), who passed away on May 20, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Bills and Myrna Bills (Blakenship); his sisters, Elaine Evans and Linda Folkerts; and his mother-in-law Mary.
He is survived by: his wife Jean; his sons, Kevin Bills (Barbara), Mark Bills (Christy) and Darin Bills (Kate); his brothers, Larry (Linda), Gary (Deb) and Jim Bills (Debbie); and his siblings-in-law, Betty and Cary Maassen. He is also survived by six grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cherished friends.
Memorials may be directed to the First United Methodist Church, 119 South Georgia, or Russell and Ann Gerdin American Cancer Society Hope Lodge 750 Hawkins Dr, Iowa City.
