She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold L. Smith and Helen M. Smith (Malone); her husband Larry Brand; her siblings, Robert Smith (Mary) and Linda Smith; and her brother-in-law Robert Dankbar.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Jolley (Wayne) of Blairsville, GA, Jim Brand and Clear Lake; her granddaughter Samantha Norman (Tyler); her stepgrandsons, Brian Jolley (Sarah) and Matthew Jolley (Katie); and her siblings, Charlotte Smith of Belmond, IA, Mildred Lowenberg (Ray), Joan Dankbar, Kathleen Godden (Tom), Harvey Smith (Susan) and Stanley Smith (Nancy).
