He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Cook (Ethel Levisay) and Sylvia Oswald Cook of Clear Lake, IA.; and his brother Daryl Cook. He is survived by: his wife Dixie L. Taylor of Mason City, IA; and his sons, Danial Cook (Jill) of Eden Prairie, MN, Dennis Cook (Kris) of Grand Forks, ND and Dale Cook (Ann) of Centennial, CO. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Donavan has chosen to donate his remains to Mayo Clinic of Rochester, MN for future research.
