She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Burgess and Gwendolyn Burgess; her husband Robert H. Furleigh (Bob); and her sister Rita Shook. She is survived by: her sons, Dwight (Cheri) of Tonica, IL and Ben (Rachel) of Port Charlotte, FL; her grandchildren, Alexander, Erin "Katy" and Erik; her siblings, Joyce Good of Sarasota, Doug Burgess (Sandy) of Ames, IA and Marshall Burgess (Linda); and her friends, Chuck and Kathy Grove. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, friends as well as cherished farm partners.
Family suggests memorial contributions can be made to the Clear Lake Public Library Foundation.
