He is survived by: his wife Joan Ashland of Clear Lake; his sons, Gregory Ashland (Janice) of Ft. Lauderdale, FL and Michael Ashland of Forest City; his grandchildren, Jennifer Dannen and Tricia Casey (Nick); and his brother John "Butch" Ashland (Barbara).
