Though Donald Olaf Lars may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Donald Olaf Lars touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (112 N 4th St, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to a charity of choice in Don's memory.
