It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dolores G. Opat-Ludwig of Clear Lake, Iowa, born in Elma, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Ludwig and Genevieve Ludwig (Bilek); her former husband Wesley Opat; her sons, Joel Opat and John Opat; her grandson Christopher Opat; and her siblings, Alphonsus Ludwig and Genevieve Grover.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Opat of Lime Springs, Matthew Opat (Therese) of Chatfield, MN and Liz Wiger (Clark) of Chatfield; her daughter-in-law Peggi Opat of Rochester, MN; and her sister Marcella Gebel of Mason City. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor's charity of choice in memory of Dolores.
