David C. Quinlan Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David C. Quinlan (Clear Lake, Iowa), born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on January 16, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Quinlan and Helen Quinlan; his brothers, Timothy Quinlan and John James Quinlan; and his brother-in-law Arthur Hilsinger.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen (Kathy); his sister Rosemary Brady (Glenn) of Clear Lake; his sisters-in-law, Karen Quinlan of Swaledale, Barbara Janson of Dedham, MA and Sharon Olson (Duane) of Tacoma, WA; and his nieces and nephews, Dr. John Brady (Bridget), Robert Quinlan of Clear Lake, Remy Gomez (Lindsey) of Portland, OR, Suzanne Gettman (Bruce) of Cedar Falls, Connie Jensen of Essex, IA, Mona Janson of Tacoma, WA, Ann Brea of Dedham, MA, Victoria Messenbrink (Fritz) of Tacoma, WA and Carry Lee McAllister (Michael) of Gig Harbor, WA.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (112 N 4th St, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
