He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Heitland and Gladys Heitland (Aukes); his parents-in-law, Forrest and Sena McGregor; his sister Donna Bredeson; his brothers-in-law, Carroll VanHove, Carter Crittenden, Dale Bredeson, Don Hanson and Vernon McGregor; and his niece Cindy VanHove.
He is survived by: his wife Carol McGregor; his daughters, Kendra Amundson (Eric) of Leland and Kayla Meredith (Brian) of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Derek Amundson (Shyenne) of Thompson, Halie Munson (Bryce) of Forest City, Ben, Luke, Carlie and Nathan Meredith of Kansas City; his great grandchild Wyatt Munson; his siblings, Leona VanHove, Judy Hanson and Jerry Heitland (Laura); and his siblings-in-law, Marge Crittenden, Donnette McGregor and Roger McGregor (Barbara).
