He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marsh and Maude Marsh (Olinger); his former wife Delpha "Arline"; his children, Doug Doss and Janice Scheffert; his grandchildren, Steve Scheffert and Erica Benson; and his siblings, Martha Buck and Al Marsh.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Ahrens-Marsh of Clear Lake; his children, John Marsh (Caryll) of Bellevue, NE and Cheryl "Cherry" Hayes (Dick) of Clear Lake; his stepsons, Michael Ahrens (Lisa) of Kirksville, MO, Mark Ahrens (Teresa) of Cedarburg, WI and Matthew Ahrens (Barb) of Blandon, PA; and his son-in-law Dean Scheffert of Indianola, IA. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Family suggests memorial contributions to MercyOne North Iowa Hospice in Mason City or Clear Lake Christian Church.
