It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Colleen Ann Simmer of Clear Lake, Iowa, who passed away on June 27, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Thompson and Patricia Thompson (Kelley); her sister Mary "Paulette" Dillavou; and her parents-in-law, Donald and Margaret Simmer.
She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Simmer; her children, Jason Simmer, Jennifer Rosene (Brett) and Jessica Bergman (Erik); her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Bryce, Breckin Rosene and Elijah Bergman; her siblings, Tom Thompson (Jeri), Roberta Henely (Denny), Mike Thompson (Cindy), Beth Jennings (Jim), Bob Thompson (Heather), Larry Thompson (Kim), Patrick Thompson and Milissa Whitehurst; and her brother-in-law Pat Dillavou.
