She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Olk and Inez Olk (Muhlenbruck); her children, Dale John Nielsen and Janet Christine Nielsen; her son-in-law Carl S. Nielsen; and her siblings, James Olk (JoAnn), Charles Olk (Sandy) and Marilyn Jensen (Jim).
She is survived by: her husband Dale Nielsen of Clear Lake, Iowa; her daughters, Diane Smedegaard Nielsen (Ole) of Ugelboelle and Denise Wilkins (Niles) of Kabetogama, Minnesota; and her sister Joan Pralle (Don) of Latimer. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
