Barbara Bergman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Bergman of Clear Lake, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ostendorf and Henrietta Ostendorf (Pals); her husband Billy Bergman; her children, Billy Jr. "Shorty" Bergman and Janie Bergman; and her siblings, Bonnie Williamson, Verlynn "Ole" Ostendorf and Ron Ostendorf.
She is survived by: her sons, Eddie Bergman, Kevin Bergman (Tonya) and Terry Bergman (Connie); her daughter-in-law Rhonda Fredrickson; and her sister-in-law Shirley Ostendorf. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Ward Van Slyke Colonial Chapel (310 1st Ave N, Clear Lake, IA 50428). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Clear Lake Cemetery (219 Main Ave, Clear Lake, IA 50428).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family.
