With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alvina Louise Muhlenbruch (Clear Lake, Iowa), who passed away on March 25, 2020 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry and Lena DeVries (Schroeder); her husband Wayne Muhlenbruch; her son Jim Muhlenbruch; her siblings, Mildred Jensen (Eugene), Mary Wiebenga (Clarence), Lucille DeVries, Don (Shirley), John and Robert DeVries (Betty); and her brother-in-law Hans Springer.
She is survived by: her children, Barb Floy (Doug) and Thomas Muhlenbruch (Alice Welch); her grandsons, Jason Floy, Bradley Floy (Erin), Scott Floy (Sarah) and Matthew Muhlenbruch (Jamie); her great grandchildren, Presley, Kennedy, Lincoln, Charlie and Ellie; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cooper and Olivia; her siblings, Rose Springer of Thornton and Richard DeVries (Dina) of Lenexa, KS; and her sister-in-law Marladean DeVries. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or to MercyOne North Iowa Hospice.
