He is survived by: his parents, August Ruth and Clara Eva Ruth (Shaffer); his wife Geraldine "Geri" Ruth of Clarksville; his children, James Ruth of Waterloo, Peggy Ruth of Allison, Robert Ruth (Dawn) of Plainfield, Karla Wheeler (Lawrence) of Waverly and William Ruth (Teresa) of Sumner; his grandchildren, Jamie Ruth, Seann Wheeler, Brett Wheeler, Dustin Ruth, Mason Klemp, Robyn Orr, Jessica Schilling, Stephanie Haasis, Traci Diel and Taylor Klemp; his great grandchildren, Justin, Jaden, Logan, Heather, Alan, Caleb, Miriam, Nathan and Levi; his siblings, Marjorie Pruin of Shell Rock, Joyce Rademaker of Clarksville, Don, Edwin, John Ruth and Doris Ward; and his great grandchild Jacee Schilling.
