He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Bartlett and Ruby Bartlett (Whitaker); and his siblings, Merle, Ruth and Mildred.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Klunder of Clarksville, IA; and his children, Sharon Cmelik (John) of Denver, IA, Michael Bartlett (Connie) of Nashua, IA, Steven Bartlett (Jan) of Waverly, IA, Karla Bartlett of Weaverville, CA and Robert Bartlett (Shellee) of Clarksville, IA. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
