He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Eckhoff and Lucille Eckhoff (Wubbena). He is survived by: his family Clarksville; his wife Wanita Weber; his children, Holly Homan (Michael) and Mike Eckhoff (Crystal); his grandsons, Hayden Homan, Austin Eckhoff and Ryan Eckhoff; his siblings, Cheryl Manning (Jerry), Nancy Amunson (Dale), Richard Eckhoff (Barb), Tom Eckhoff (Chris) and Jolene Orser; his sister-in-law Lorraine Kramer (Roger); and also, Holly and Mike. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be directed to the family for later designation.
