He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carl and Erna Marie Jacobsen (Mikkelsen); and his sister Joyce Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Jacobsen of Clarksville; and his children, Lynn Nelson of Clarksville, Tad Jacobsen (Susan) of Clarksville, Genny Jacobsen of Latimer, Betsy Schmitt (Francis) of Charles City and Michael Jacobsen (Briana) of Clarksville. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
