He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Paulsen (Pete) and Elizabeth Paulsen (Betty). He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his daughter Christie Bilharz (Cody); and his sister Kathy Palmersheim (Bill). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home (218 2nd St SE, Waverly, IA 50677). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be distributed to organizations that were meaningful to Dean.
