With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlys Jean Mennenga of Clarksville, Iowa, who passed away on May 31, 2024 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavern J. Schmidt and Adella W. Schmidt (Wehling); her husbands, Freddie Ulrichs and Richard Mennenga; and her siblings-in-law, Elizabeth Bales (Barney), Jean Folkerts (Richard), Hinderene Van Raden (Leslie), Paulene Meyer (Ernest) of Harold Heeren, H. J, Bud Mennenga, Albert Ulrichs, Norma Kratchmer (Dale) and Doris Milius.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Ulrichs (Christine) of Georgetown, TX, Jacqueline Barnes of Fort Collins, CO and Deanne Miller (Robert) of Maple City, MI; her grandchildren, Scott Ulrichs (Erika), Stephanie Cunningham (Argus), Wyatt Barnes (Tara Muller) and Nathan Miller; her great grandchildren, Miranda Ulrichs, Bayla Cunningham and Brynn Cunningham; her brother Gary Schmidt (Melva) of Norwalk, IA; and her siblings-in-law, Orlyn Milius of Tripoli, Marlene Mennenga of Clarksville and Marie Heeren of Bristow, IA..
