It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Roberta McElhaney of Clarksville, Iowa, who passed away on November 17, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest "Virgo" Jacobsen and Margaret Jacobsen (Rahn); and her siblings, Ernie, Gordy Jacobsen and Margaret Jacobsen.
She is survived by: her husband Richard McElhaney of Clarksville; and her children, Linda Griffin (Duane) of Waseca, Jeanette Henry (Dale) of Vinton, Roberta McElhaney of Clarksville, Brenda Verno (Steve) of Taravas, Bruce McElhaney (Debra) of Grand Prairie, Laura Padrön (Victor) of Pueblo, Mexico and Paul McElhaney of Pullupa, Washington. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and other family members.
