She was predeceased by: her parents, John Johnson and Arva Moneta Jacobs (Young); and her husband Kenneth Smith. She is survived by: her children, Lora Wedemeier of Plainfield, IA and Chad Smith (Karen) of Denver, IA; her grandchildren, Hillary Smith (David), Gavin Wedemeier (Halie Geerts), Zander Wedemeier, Parker Smith (Emily) and Brody Smith; her great grandchildren, Briella, Hattie, Henry, Hazel Smith and Oaklynn Wedemeier; her sister Joyce Smith (Roy) of Clarksville; and her siblings-in-law, Vicky Hilmer of Clarksville, Mary Lay (Mike) of Mesa, AZ and Bill Faust (Carla) of Clarksville. She is also survived by her family, especially with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Redman Funeral & Cremation Services – Clarksville Funeral (221 W Greene St, Clarksville, IA 50619). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Immanuel United Church of Christ (203 S Mather St, Clarksville, IA 50619).
