He is survived by: his mother Jill "Sadie" Sorensen (Freeman) of Eagle Grove; his children, Brian Sorensen (Autumn Cerka) and Jaydan Sorensen (Mother Joella Steffenson) of Clarion; his grandchildren, Isabella, Gabriel and Alice; his brother Kelly Sorensen (Karrie) of Eagle Grove; his nephews, Taylor, Michael and Trenton; and his aunts, Dee, Joy and Holly. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
