She was predeceased by: her husband Duane Austin McCurry; her adoptive parents, Paul and Anna; and her great grandchild Megan Marie Loomis. She is survived by: her children, Dennis Duane, David Paul, Dennis McCurry (Elaine), David McCurry (Mary Jo) and Mary Ellen Eekhoff; her grandchildren, Angela Loomis (Randy), Blaine McCurry (Lori), Jill Reichter (Bradley), Jennifer Hilton (Thomas), Kristen Mohn (John), Theresa Blong (John), Paula Kruger (Michael), Crystal Engstrom (Joshua) and Sue Ann Sadler (Adam); and her friends, Ellis Macha and Tony Kubly.
Ruth asked that in lieu of flowers, memorial funds be directed to Casamea.org or McCurrys in Missions.
