It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Dale Swieter in Clarion, Iowa, born in Geneva, Iowa, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick Swieter and Grace Swieter (Meyer); his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Johnny Swieter, Harvey Swieter, Kenneth Swieter, Carl Swieter and Marian Meinberg.
He is survived by: his children, Douglas Swieter (Jean) of Mason City, IA, Joel Swieter (Chris) of Gold Canyon, AZ and Brenda Heilskov (Todd); and his grandchildren, Crystal Neubauer, Erin Neubauer, Stephanie Swieter, Stacy Frazier (Michael), Keegan Swieter (Amber), Hannah Heilskov, Madison Heilskov (Joe Petersen) and Morgan Degner. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Bob's name to the First Lutheran Church in Clarion, IA.
