He was predeceased by: his parents, Harm R. Bartholomaus and Jeriena Bartholomaus (Boltjes); his in-laws, Louis and Vivian Metz; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Vogt, Donald Lursen, Mylo Metz, Dale Buss and Delores "Dee" Ruser.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Louise Metz; his children, Kim Disney (Kirk) of Clarion, Brett Bartholomaus (Michelle) of Marco Island and Scott Bartholomaus (Anne) of Katy, Texas; his grandchildren, Kyle Disney (Alicia), Kole Disney (Brittany), Kari Wendt (Gabriel), Nicholas Bartholomaus, Austin Bartholomaus (Megan), Hannah Bartholomaus, Joseph Bartholomaus (Carly), Logan Labreck, Trey Bartholomaus and Taylor Bartholomaus; his great grandchildren, Greyson, Delaney, Laurel, Maren, Kolt Disney, Lauren Brenn, Eleanor, Luke and Walker Bartholomaus; and his sister LaVonne Vogt of Luverne. He is also survived by brothers, sisters, and spouses.
He served as Treasurer for the Clarion Foundation for Community Improvement and the Clarion-Goldfield School District.
