We are sad to announce that on August 22, 2023, Phyllis M. (Fraser) Berkenes of Clarion, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Fraser and Edith Fraser (Wampler); her husband Mervin John Berkenes; her siblings, Bernice Anderson Hanson, Maxine Brinkman, Glenn, Emmett and Don Fraser; her son-in-law John M. Warren; and her granddaughter Terri Tate.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandra "Sandie" Warren; her granddaughter Susie Karns (Kevin) of Waterloo; her stepgranddaughters, Ginger Knapp (Scott) of Rochester, Minnesota. and Kimberly Dahl (Jason) of Rochester, Minnesota.; her great grandchildren, Whitney, Zach, Noah, Brooke, John, Kaden, Kylie and Sebastian; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Taylor, Logan, Kennis, Madeline and Claire; and her great great grandchildren, Ivy, Erikson "Ray", Hayze, Flynn, Paisley and Gianna.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Holmes Lutheran Church or The Holmes Lutheran Cemetery.
