He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvid Ahlstrom and Mary Ellen Ahlstrom (Hinman); his grandson Brady Ahlstrom; and his sister Jean Trey. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Ahlstrom of Clarion; his children, Kim Mallinger (Kirk) of Fort Dodge and Kevin Ahlstrom of Clarion; his grandchildren, Logan, Ashley, Jeremy, Stacie, Zac, Lucas, Brittany and Gracie; and his great grandchildren, Ashlynn, Tysne, Savannah, Clayton, Linus, Gohan and Brennen. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
