He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alvin Hinkle and Miriam Hinkle (Deiner); his former wife Ruth Hutchinson; his wife Betty Crowley; his children, Carol Erickson (Mark) of Palmyra, VA, Mary Valligny (Peter) of Kannapolis, NC, David Hinkle (Barbara) of Salida, CO and Robert Hinkle (Kristi) of Dows, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Jonathan Mahood, Jason Mahood, Christopher Valligny, Kim Acosta, Patti McIver, Joshua Hinkle, Paul Hinkle, Kristin Smith, Katie Hinkle and Jenalee Ogle; and his great grandchildren, Charlotte, Adeline Mahood, Sophie, Sam Valligny, Allison, Jake Acosta, Declan McIver, Justin, Alex Hinkle, Tegan and Keely Smith. He was also cherished by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
