He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Lunde and Lois Lunde (Mathison). He is survived by: his former wife Rebecca Olson; his wife Becky of Clarion; his children, Chris Lunde (Aimee) of Ames and Lisa Diebel (Dave) of St. Petersburg, Florida; his grandchildren, Connor, Brennan Lunde, Dylan Paige and Marc Diebel; and his sisters, Marcia Hauschild and LeeAnn Lois Lunde Lewis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
