He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Nolte and Florence Nolte (Busick); his nephew Ryan Kuhlers; his uncle Ben Nolte; and his aunts, Jennie Retleff and Vera Spade.
He is survived by: his former wife Evelyn Anderson of Goodell, IA; his daughter Helen Buckley (Troy); his grandchildren, McKenna of Danville, Indiana and Corbyn of Danville, Indiana; his son Travis Nolte (Katie); his grandchildren, Kaylee of Goodell, IA, Cody of Goodell, IA, Caleb of Goodell, IA, Collin of Goodell, IA and Karlee of Goodell, IA; his son Chris Nolte (Kristin); his grandchildren, Hunter of Goodell, IA and Paisley of Goodell, IA; his sister Linda Kuhlers (Ron) of Meservey, IA; and his nieces, Becky O'Neil (Mark) and Melissa Bonjour (Brian). He is also survived by other extended family and many friends.
