With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karl M. Olsen of Clarion, Iowa, born in Hampton, Iowa, who passed away on April 27, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Samuel Olsen and Ina Faye Schmidt; his wife Marilyn M. Olsen; his brother Stan Olsen; his parents-in-law, Donald Jr. and Marie Beenken; and his brother-in-law Dennis Beenken.
He is survived by: his children, Brent, Lisa Olsen of Waukee, IA, Chad and Deana Olsen of Conroe, TX; his grandchildren, Lexi, Lincoln, Landry, Lawson, Ethan, Jase, Christian and Evelyn; his brother Steve Olsen of Belmond, IA; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Beenken of Clarion, IA and Bob Beenken of Perry, IA.. He is also survived by other numerous family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Karl and in honor of his late wife Marilyn.
