John Ofstethun Obituary

We are sad to announce that on July 17, 2019, at the age of 85, John Ofstethun (Clarion, Iowa), born in Lawler, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Anfin Ofstethun and Vera Ofstethun (Kimmitt); and his stepbrothers, Thomas and Carl Waddell. He is survived by: his children, Kevin Ofstethun (Judy) of Clarion and Glenda Lambert (Steve) of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Angela Hickey (Pat) of Fort Dodge, Amanda Rosenkilde (Josh) of Clarion, Chris Lambert of Kansas City, MO, Jessica Lambert and Rob Latch of Pleasantville; and his great grandchildren, Laila, Kinley Hickey, Gabe and Wes Rosenkilde. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
