She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Montandon and Arlene Montandon (Schroeder); her brother Larry Montandon; her aunt Erma Lou; her nephew Troy Montandon; her close friend Bernie Anderson; and her grandparents, Lee, Luella Montandon, William and Amelia Schroeder (Hipp).
She is survived by: her husband Bob Chapman of Clarion; her children, Phil Chapman (Laura) of Ankeny and Jill Kimpson (Chris) of Des Moines; her nephew Brad Montandon; her great-niece Alejandra Garcia; her grandchildren, Trystan, Evan, Brady, Camden Chapman of Ankeny, Ava and Leo Kimpson of Des Moines; and her brother Monty Montandon (Julie) of Estherville. She is also survived by many friends, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Remembrances and memorials may be given to her family or to an animal rescue shelter in her name.
