He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethan Day and Celia Day (Harris); his brother Jim Day; and his brother-in-law Harold Neese. He is survived by: his wife Mary Mason; his former wife Mary Day of Webster City; his siblings, Janet Neese of Clarion, Richard Day of Clarion, Betty Schaffer (Bob) of Clarion and Gary Day (Candy) of Ames; his niece Debbie Webber; his stepsons, Larry Long and William Mason; and his pet Curly. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
