She was predeceased by: her parents, William Andorf and Ann Andorf. She is survived by: her husband Ray Ansel; her siblings, Beverly and Jim (Ray); her children, Betsy, Mike and Joe; her friends, Donna and Delila; her children, Laurie Schreur (Herb) and Mark Ansel (Meridee); her son-in-law Lynn Mraz; her grandchildren, Zach Blunt (Tara), Marissa Buckminster (Joshua), Tyler Ansel, Hannah Clary, Matt Mraz (Lynne), Bill Mraz (Jess), Garrett Schreur (Jackie), Kathrine Krukow (Paul), Jacob Schreur (Carissa), Leanna Bathen (Jared), Noah Ansel (Alyssa), Kevin Ansel (Aubrey), Makayla Ansel and Jaden Ansel; and her aunt Marian. She is also survived by her 20 great-grandchildren.
A wake was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Ewing Funeral Home (1801 Central Ave E, Clarion, IA 50525). Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (608 2nd Ave NE, Clarion, IA 50525). The inurnment was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St Johns Cemetery (2365 IA-3, Clarion, IA 50525).
