It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth Caroline Sump (Clarinda, Iowa), who passed away on February 28, 2020, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel John Sunderman and Emma Caroling Sunderman (Rurode); her husband Marrel Sump; her daughter Marilyn Ruth Mead; her brother Wayne Sunderman (Lorene); and her mothers-in-law, Wilma Muller (Arthur) and Vera Wellhausen (Walter).
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Hart of Anaheim, Darrel Sump (Melanie) of Clarinda and Sandra McKinnon (Marvin) of Clarinda, Iowa. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren; nieces; nephews and friends.
Memorials may be directed to St. Paul Lutheran Church or to the Clarinda Lutheran School.
