She was predeceased by: her husband Wendell Maxwell; her parents, Alfred Surrell and Doris Sebeniecher; her stepfather Ernie Sebeniecher; her brother Guy Surrell; her half-sister Angel Sebeniecher; and her grandchildren, Danual Fidler, Marci Harper and Zoey Maxwell.
She is survived by: her children, Rev. Anna Miller (Billie), Lepha Fidler (Bill), Timothy Maxwell (Dellen), Mary Jelsma, Debbie Wheeler (Kevin), Rev. Joseph Maxwell (Sara) and Toni Eberly (Tim). She is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 67 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild along with many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Walker-Merrick-Billings Funeral Chapel (422 E Washington St, Clarinda, IA 51632).
