She was predeceased by: her parents, Ann Heumphreus (Wilburn) and Ray Heumphreus; her mother-in-law Lucille Mellencamp; her son Jason Darrell Mellencamp; her parents-in-law, Warren Mellencamp and Margaret Kirkland; and her daughter-in-law Jennifer Mellencamp (Saville).
She is survived by: her pet Sadie; her husband Darrell Mellencamp; her children, Shelly Mellencamp and Scott Mellencamp (Micaela); her grandchildren, Bailey Bloss (Dalton), Will Mellencamp, Jason Dow, Jacob Dow (Faith Adkins), Jana Dow, Lane Mellencamp, Decker Mellencamp and Denton Mellencamp; her great grandchild Bailea Bloss; and also, Cub Scout and Legion Auxiliary. She is also survived by nieces; nephews and many friends.
