He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin Glidden and Jennie Elizabeth Holland; his daughters, Daisy and Lisa; his son-in-law Roger Woodsmall; his granddaughter Candace; and his siblings-in-law, Curtis, Lloyd, Gary, Barb, Nancy and Carolyn.
He is survived by: his wife Ethel Glidden of Clarinda, Iowa; his children, Carol Woodsmall of Clarinda, Bryan Glidden (Niki) of Vandalia, Susan Shum of Clarinda, Edward Glidden (Anndee) of Clarinda, Christal Foss (Billy) of Bedford and Victoria Stogdill (Wesley) of Imogene, Iowa; and his siblings, Max, Marvin, Gary, Larry, Roger (Marilyn) and Anna Mae Fiene. He is also survived by thirty three grandchildren; twenty five great grandchildren.
