She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edward Harlow and Margaret Harlow; her husband Valgene Steffen; her sister Rhonda Hess; her brother-in-law Jim Hess; her parents-in-law, Max and Eulah Steffen; her brothers-in-law, Mike Headley and Claude BirgeLeft; her children, Jan Samford (Russ) of Bedford, Karen Davidshofer (Aaron) of New Market, Linda Poore (Jon) of Macomb, Marletta Helms (Joe) of Leawood and Bill Steffen (Jenny) of Clarinda, Iowa; her grandchildren, Devyn Samford, Eric Samford, Ashley Woods (Josh), Haley Davidshofer, Levi Davidshofer, Lindsey Poore, Jacob Poore, Abby Helms, Emma Helms, Hannah Helms, Clint Steffen and Layne Brown; her great grandchildren, Andi Woods, Jaxson Woods and Jace Woods; her brother Steve Harlow (Louise); and her siblings-in-law, Wes Steffen (Mary Anna), Zelda Birge and Donna Tyler (Lendy). She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
